Peterson-Blandino was a four-year member of the Panther softball team.  She was an outstanding pitcher, one of the best to play for Adelphi.  Her name appears in the record books numerous times.  Under single season statistics, she is first in at bats with 177, top-10 in walks, top-5 in innings pitched, second with 17 shutouts, and tied at the top with Julie Bolduc with 25 wins and ERA with 0.24. 
 
For her career, she appears in the top-10 in at bats, runs scored, hits, pitching appearances, games started, innings pitched, wins, strikeouts, shutouts and ERA.  She started in an all-time high of 94 games, pitched 644.1 innings, collected 64 wins, 358 strikeouts, 44 shutouts and posted a career ERA of 0.39.  Additionally, she was a second team All-American in 1988 and a three-time All-Northeast team (first-team selection twice, second team selection once).
