Adelphi University Athletics

During the 1949-50 season, Spollen led the team in scoring with 283 points. He also earned Greater New York Collegiate All-Star recognition. He was named to the Adelphi Guidon-Hofstra Chronicle Little Three All Star team in 1950. Spollen served as the President of the Men’s Athletic Association. in 1948. He played basketball for NYAC after graduation.
