Adelphi University Athletics

As a freshman at Adelphi in 1960, he was a member of the first freshman lacrosse team and was voted Outstanding Freshman Athlete. During Deneroff’s tenure at Adelphi, he earned All-American Honorable Mention in Lacrosse, was awarded the Kittay Loughlin Award for Outstanding Lacrosse Defenseman twice, captained the 1962-1963 teams and was on starting teams for the U.S.I.The Physical education major was also a member of Omicron Pi.
