McSloy Keenan joined the Panther’s soccer team just after the team’s inaugural year. During her first season, in 1983, she was part of the team that won the ECAC Division II Championship. The next two years, they repeated the same feat except on a Division I level. She was part of a squad that compiled a 42-24-8 record from the 1983-86 seasons. Her career stats include 12 goals and 17 assists for 41 points. McSloy Keenan also became the first female soccer player in Adelphi history to be named CoSida Academic All-American (1985). Adding to her accomplishments, she was named to the NSCAA All-Northeast Region first and second team in 1985 and 1986 respectively. She was also a member of the basketball team for two years.
