Adelphi University Athletics

Beatrice Toner, a 1950 graduate of Adelphi University, entered the Athletic Hall of Fame in 1975. She participated in both women’s basketball and field hockey while at Adelphi along with other sports and received an Adelphi blazer for her participation in three different sports.
 
She was among 20 Adelphi representatives in Who’s Who in American Colleges and Universities in 1950 and also represented Adelphi at the New York State Convention for the Federation of Women’s Athletic Associations in 1949.
