Biography
Awards: Academic All-American in the 50 yard freestyle...National Student Athlete Award...All-Conference in the 50 and 100 yard freestyle and 100 backstroke.
2005-06: 23 first place finishes in dual meet competition...qualified for the 50 and 100 yard freestyle events, as well as the 100 yard backstroke and the 200 freestyle and 200 and 400 yard medley relay events...made the NCAA "B" Cut qualifier for the 50 yard freestyle with a time of 21.18.
2004-05: 24 first place finishes in dual meet competition...Top 10 finisher in the 200 freestyle relay, 400 medley relay, 200 medley relay, 400 freestyle relay...ECAC Qualifier in 50 and 100 yard freestyle, and in the 200 medley relay.
2003-04: ECAC qualifier in the 50 freestyle...named Adelphi Male Freshman Athlete of the Year.
Before Adelphi: Team captain and MVP 2000-2003...state qualifier and finalist in the 50 and 100 meter freestyle in 2003...junior olympic qualifier and champion...Long Island open qualifier...senior metropolitan qualifier and finalist...sectional and zone qualifier...four year scholar athlete...was also involved in campus ministry and National Honor Society.
Personal: Son of Tom and Diane Jordan...plans on majoring in math or chemisty...Would like to teach math or chemisty after graduation.
