Join Our Current and Past Panthers in Annual Alumni Games During Spirit Weekend

Garden City, N.Y.- Adelphi University will host its first ever Spirit Weekend on Friday, October 13, to Sunday, October 15, 2017. The three day event will consist of multiple opportunities for alumni, students, families, faculty and staff to reconnect, and promises a sensational weekend packed with activities for everyone.

In addition to the school-wide events, such as a carnival, casino night and pumpkin picking, past Panthers will have a chance to join the current varsity teams in their annual alumni matchups. Friday, October 13, both the men's and women's lacrosse teams will face off on Motamed Field. The alumni will take on current members of the 2017-18 lacrosse teams at 6 p.m. and 7 p.m., followed by a tailgate for the players and fans afterwards.

The following day, alumni members of the Adelphi swimming and diving and softball teams will go head-to-head with the student-athletes in the lanes and on the field. Also on Saturday, the varsity men's soccer team will host Merrimack College on Motamed field. The Northeast-10 Conference match up will begin at 3 p.m
