Garden City, NY - This past Monday evening, the Adelphi University athletic department held its Student-Athlete Banquet to honor the success of the individuals and teams that represent the Panthers throughout the year in competition as well as in the classroom and in the community.

Held on campus in the University Center ballroom, all of the Brown and Gold teams and coaches gathered for the dinner and award ceremony. Included in the program was the presentation of team MVPs as well as honoriong each program's seniors. The night was capped off with a highlight video, demonstrating the on-field success of Adelphi.

The night begin with the evening's emcee Kevin Dexter welcoming the crowd and introducing Director of Athletics and Campus Recreation Danny McCabe for a brief speech followed by a few words from Adelphi President Dr. Scott. Prior to dinner, SAAC Advisor Gordon Purdie spoke about the success and future of the student-athlete advisory committee.
