Charlotte, NC - The Adelphi University women's soccer team
recently helped a seventh and eighth grade boys soccer team at Berryhill Elementary school in Charlotte, NC by donating used soccer equipment, cleats, shirts and balls.Coordinated by assistant coach
Josefa Pace, the team was able to assist program alumni Kristen Dexter ('11) by donating the used equipment. Dexter is the current coach of the Berryhill school team where she is also a teacher. The Berryhill program was established last season and the team went undefeated while not allowing a goal.
Dexter was a member of the Brown and Gold from 2007-10 where she played in 64 games as a defensive back. She was named to the Northeast-10 All-Conference Second Team in her senior season.
