Garden City, N.Y. - As the fall season continues to progress, the Adelphi University baseball team will host its annual charity game this Sunday versus Felician College with all proceeds going to the Cancer Center for Kids at Winthrop Hospital.
The game is set to take place this Sunday, October 11 at 12:00 pm on William J. Bonomo Field. Tickets are currently being sold for $10 by contacing Head Coach

"Our players always ask each year what cause we will be playing for in the fall," commented Coach Scala. "I believe this shows the type of special student-athletes we have at Adelphi. I have been close with Winthrop Hospital for many years and look forward to being able to help the Cancer Center for Kids in their fight."
Last season, the baseball squad finished 20-21 with a season-opening 8-3 victory against sixth ranked Nova Southeastern and finishing up the slate with a 2-2 record in the Northeast-10 Conference Championships.
