On Monday, April 11, the Adelphi University women's basketball team went to Hempstead Middle School to conduct a free clinic for the school's 7th and 8th grade girls basketball teams.

Coaches and players from the women's team went through offensive, defensive, and agility stations with both the 7th and 8th grade teams throughout the afternoon.

"It was great way for our girls to become mentors for a younger generation and to teach them the fundamental skills of the game," said Assistant Coach Christina Buckley.
