Garden City, N.Y. -
The Adelphi University women's basketball team hosted a clinic at St. Peter's Church in Port Washington, New York on January 10. Girls in grades 6-8 came out to the clinic to learn the fundamentals of the game from the women's team.
The women's team and coaching staff worked with the girls the entire afternoon, teaching them skills in all phases of the game. "Overall, I think it was a great experience for both our team and the girls from St. Peters," said Head Coach Heather Jacobs. "It was a fun afternoon for everyone involved and you could see that from the smiles. We are looking forward to the St. Peters girls coming to our game tonight against Bentley."
The Panthers take on 18th-ranked Bentley University this evening in a league match-up at the Center for Recreation and Sports at 5:30 p.m.
