Garden City, N.Y. - Adelphi University student-athlete Audrey Goss recently did a highlight piece on the Athletic Department's effort to raise awareness and funds for the Adelphi University New York Statewide Breast Cancer Hotline and Support Program.

The annual event was created in honor of Jennifer Montgomery, the wife of former AU soccer coach, Bob Montgomery. Over the past four years, the department has raised over $14,000 and has donated 100% of the proceeds to the hotline. The video also feature graduate student Jackie Bogensberger, a member of the women's lacrosse team. For the past two years, she designed the logos for t-shirts, which have been co-sponsored by the Student Government Association, and has helped raised a majority of the profits.

Goss is a senior on the women's volleyball team. The Birmingham, Alabama native helped the Panthers to three straight NCAA appearances. She will graduate in 2010 with a degree in communications.
