Garden City, N.Y. - Members of the Adelphi University women's basketball team volunteered their time at the 10th Annual Long Island Walk Now for Autism Speaks on Sunday, October 4 at Jones Beach State Park.

While the Panthers did participate in the walk, they did spend the morning providing face painting and temporary tattoos to the children participating in the walk.

Over 27,000 supporters were on hand at the event which has raised over $1.1 million dollars to date. In addition to the face painting, everyone enjoyed bounce houses, arts & crafts, the autism community resource fair, costumed characters, and incredible live music.
