The Adelphi University Department of Intercollegiate Athletics will kick off the 2nd Annual Jennifer Montgomery Breast Cancer Awareness event on October 2 with a campus walk by the student-athletes and staff.

Each of the fall sports teams (field hockey, women's soccer, men's soccer, women's tennis and volleyball) will all host "Think Pink" games in the month of October. The teams will warm up in the "Think Pink" shirts and also provide shirts for the opposing teams.

Members of each of the 21 intercollegiate teams will also donate raffle baskets. The baskets, along with t-shirts ($10), which are sponsored by the Student Government Association, lanyards ($2) and pink chapsticks ($2), will be sold throughout the month. The department will also sell the items in the University Center on October 14-15 from 10:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. Click here for a list of all of the raffle baskets, including a special Weekend Getaway package! The drawing for the raffle items will be held on October 31.
