The Adelphi University Student Athletic Advisory Committee (S.A.A.C.) hosted it Third Annual Bingo Night in benefit of the Lance Armstrong Foundation on April 14 in the Fireplace Lounge located in the Ruth S. Harley University Center.

Dozens of student-athletes gathered for an evening of fun and excitement while attempting to win one of ten rounds of bingo. Prizes consisted of gift certificates to restaurants, a one-year membership to New York Sports Club, several Ipod shuffles, tickets to watch the Broadway show Young Frankenstein, and an Ipod Touch.

New York Sports Club sponsored the event, giving away free one month memberships to those in attendance in addition to donating a one year membership for the sixth round bingo prize.

S.A.A.C. members were extremely satisfied with the event. Senior Nicolas Sanchez-Sousa stated "The evening went very well, I am glad that the 40 or so people in attendance came to help S.A.A.C. raise money for the Lance Armstrong Foundation."

A total of $416.00 raised with all proceeds being donated, and senior Matt Pink added, "It's great to see how involved the student-athletes are, and how humble they are when it comes to giving back to a great cause in the Lance Armstrong Foundation."
