On Monday March 3, freshman Tom Eickelberg of the Cross Country/Track and Field team and freshman Alex Griffith of the swimming team visited the Franklin Early Childhood Center in Hewlett to read to elementary school students.

Now in its 11th year, Read Aross America, the nation's largest reading celebration, continues to generated support from student-athletes who for many younger students are looked upon as role-models and leaders in their communities.

Adelphi has participated in Read Across America in each of the last five years.
