Michael Misiti

Michael Misiti enters his third full season as the Adelphi University men's and women's tennis head coach in 2015-16, after taking over the reigns of both programs in February 2013.

The Panthers were back into postseason play under Misiti's guidance in 2014-15, as the women's team captured the regular season NE-10 title behind a perfect 12-0 record and had eight All-Conference honors. Just as the women did a season earlier, the men's squad reached the program's first NE-10 Championship with a win over #3 Stonehill before falling to top-seeded Merrimack in the championship. The men's team made its second consecutive appearance in the NCAA East Regional as the #6 seed, while six players earned All-Conference honors Freshmen swept Rookie of the Year honors, as Stefani Lineva earned the women's award and Matteo Cannavera was named both men's Player and Rookie of the Year.

Misiti led both the men's and women's programs to Northeast-10 Tournament play in 2013-14. The men's team secured the #4 seed with an 8-2 conference record and an 11-8 overall mark. They defeated #5 seed Stonehill College in the NE-10 quarterfinals before falling to top-seeded Merrimack College, 5-1, in the semifinals. The Panthers secured the #6 seed in the NCAA East Regional, the first time they featured in NCAA play since 2010, but fell in the first round to the #3 seeded Griffins of Chestnut Hill College. Under Misiti's direction, the men's squad earned six All-Conference nods.

The women secured the #2 seed in the NE-10 Tournament behind an 11-1 conference mark, and a 13-8 overall record. The Panthers advanced to the NE-10 Championship for the first time in program history following a 5-1 semifinal win against Stonehill College, before falling 5-3 to top-seeded Merrimack. Four women's players took home All-Conference honors.
